The Blankforce Advisory proved itself on the Cable as well as an alround board. Daniel from Blankforce was throwing some BIG powered moves on this board with bindings fitted.
The pic below is of me, 1st time on a cable and absolutly loved it!!

Dave Merchant is a local photographer keen to snap kitesurfers, if you want some Pro pics of your self, give him a shout 07979 820827

We have just had an amazing session down West Wales at a favourite Surfing beach of mine. The winds were dead offshore 1st thing but thankfully swung around just enough to be do-able!
I had some sick waves, almost getting cover ups on many. It was a shame there was no one there with a camera as they would have got some pretty cool images.

Winds have been a little light lately, bad news when we have so many new toys to try since returning from the Mondial Du Vent last week.

Then again we have been on the Blankforce Fiction XL boards(the board on the right), WOW has been the over whelming responce. These boards get going in very little wind and even rocking upwind. Once you get past the look and size of the board everyone has been amazed by them.

I also tried extra line lengths on a 10m Zeeko kite in light winds at the weekend

and blimey, that is some power increase. 43m lines= power!

Summer Time
Seems the summer is here at last.
The past week or so we have had regular sea breezes and once again we are all trying our ' bestest' to predict them!!
Been playing around with the Genetrix Origin in the light winds and have to say what a sweet feeling kite, light on the bar but nice powerfull feel to it. Very quick turning too!

Dunno how they've managed either cos there are NO pulley's!

This is the kind of delta shape Genetrix, not the Hydra kite that broke the 5o knots last year with Sebastian Catalan.

Cant wait for a Bank Holiday so we can get some proper bad weather to try it in!

Just had two days doing my SENIOR INSTRUCORS course with the BKSA. It was very intertesting to meet up with some old mates from many years ago including Carl from Extreme Accadamy on Watergate Bay and Stav from the old Boost Shop in Brighton.
It was quite a tuff course mainly because I got an ear infection on the way back from France and it really got worse on Monday am at the start of the course :-(

On a different note.....
We are now able to sell RRD Kites and Boards check out our website at

Wow what a week!
We have just returned from a week with our partners in France at the Mondial Du Vent!

It was a great chance to meet up with both Blankforce Boards and Zeeko Kites and to get the chance to try the whole range back to back in awesome 30 knots plus winds.

We now have the complete range of 2010 Blankforce Boards both for Sale & for Demo! The standout board for me is the Advisory Carbon, simply a stunning performance board at a silly low price!

Daniel is a true NUTTER and is 100pmh all day, doesn't

matter if it's kiting or cable park he gives it his all!

The pic below is by ExPix of me at the Cable Park (my 1st time wakeboarding) The board is the Advisory Carbon

We also have demo kites from Genetrix the all new 2010 ORIGIN!

Easter Bank Holiday

Great Easter Sunday here in Porthcawl today, wind was a nice steady 18mph ish and S.Westerly with small messy surf. There were a lot out at Rest with a few faces we've not seen much of during the winter months.
Photo above is Blast Kiteboarding partner Sarah Eager who was on a 7m Zeeko and Blankforce Ballistic 132 x 41.5cm Carbon board.

It was great to see so many smiling happy faces!

Happy Days!

Mutiny Kites

Had a session at Broughton last week in what can only be described as "horrible" conditions. It was snowing on the way to the beach and the wind was freezing.
Anyway I met up with the guys from MUTINY KITES, Henry & Adam and had my 1st look at the all new Kite Brand for the UK!
Cant wait to actually try one now!
Adam got a couple of pics of me kitelooping the 7m Zeeko in 35knots plus, not the best pics but considereing the conditions I am quite pleased.

The 2010 Blankforce Boards are slipping through our hands like a wet kipper. We can't get them in quick enough.
Both the Advisory and the Ballistic are selling well but also the Fiction is getting a load of interest. With prices from £329 it's hardly surprising though, hell the full Carbon Ballistic is only £439!
The reaction from all who've tried them has been amazing, call us to arrange a demo!!

Pembrey Kitesurf Lesson

Had a day at Pembrey today....teaching!
The wind was up and down like a whore's drawers, but the water was super smooth.
The student had several lessons over the years but still hadnt dialed getting up on the board. By the end of the lesson and whilst the wind was blowing he was up and riding, such a cool thing to witness!
love my job!
