Latest Sessions....wind, sun, mates = Good times!

We have just had yet another sweet spell of strong winds with a nice amount of sunshine thrown in for good measure!
It gave me the chance to get the camera out and put it to some good use with some mates out including our own Blast Sponsored rider Tom Butler. Here are a few sample pics from the past three days!

What an awesome w/end we've just had...banging winds, warm and sunny too. We had some great students down for the w/end so it was very much business as usual.

What an epic past few days we have had.......

At last the winds came back to grace our shores once again...it's been way to long. The sun was left behind but we simply didnt care...it was small kite weather and there were waves.

We got the chance to try some of the new kit we have been desperate to try for so long inc. Best Kahoona V3's, JN Prima Donna's, Mutiny, Wainman, Fluid ATV's and ofcourse the Genetrix Origin v2

We are now back to settled fine weather with the sun back warmer than ever with a real nice swell pushing in too.
Tomorrow is SUP day!

Summer Breeze?

We certainly seem to be getting some summer breeze's of late....yesterday was a classic case. Wind was forecast as light N.Easterly (offshore) so we packed  the van with SUP's and MTB's for some alernative action.
As we were leaving Porthcawl we thought we'd drive past the beach....just to check.
There was a nice steady seabreeze building so we quickly got changed and were all over it for an hour or two.
The Fluid ATV 12m was once again our weapon of choice as it pulls like a truck but steers like a gokart...love it!

The week coming see's us heading back to more seasonal weather with some deep lows approaching so hopefully we will get the chance to try our small kites that have arrived at Blast but not been tried yet.

Blast Frozen Jam '11

We would like to thank all those that came and supported the Blast Frozen Jam....even though there was little wind forecast!


We did manage a nice light wind session today so not all bad, plus the SWWKC and BKSA AGM's were held successfully on Saturday eve

This month's Kiteworld Mag

This month's magazine is a great one for us at Blast Kiteboarding as it features many of the brands we have been shouting about for the past few years.

Genetrix have a double page advert, there 1st in a UK mag. This follows loads of articles etc in the last mag featuring the Genetrix Hydra kite used to break 8 national speed records last year.

There is also a test on the Zeeko Krush plus advert which gets rave reviews.

Also tested is the Xelerator Epic which as usual gets top marks.

Lastly Fluid Kites have there ATV kite tested in Cape Town in harsh gusty conditions and they loved it and that's before they even mention the price!!
